Exactly what I think – no more, no less
A lovely old-style hotel with friendly staff and a quaint rustic charm. The Family Room was comfortable for our stay, while local cuisine at dinner was absolutely delightful. A small outside pool offered a nice touch for relaxation after exploring. Breakfast was very good too!

Montory vibes 😍
The food was a real treat—proper local dishes that hit the spot, especially the lamb chops, wow! Plus, the staff were so friendly, especially that lovely chommie serving us, always with a smile. Oh, and the pool with the mountain view? Lekker for a dip!
No air con in the room, so it got a bit hot at night, but we managed.

The Comfort Double Room offered a solid night's sleep with decent space. The dining experience featured delicious local dishes, particularly the duck and lamb platter, showcasing the region's flavors.
Not much welcome upon arrival as I got locked out before reception hours, resorting to the fire escape for entry. The room had no air conditioning, making it uncomfortably hot in summer, especially being located near a busy road that disturbed sleep. WiFi was slow, definitely not great for streaming. which is frustrating when you want to unwind with some shows.

We loved the charming old-style decor and the delicious local dishes served during dinner. The cozy outdoor swimming area provided a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. A bigger shower would’ve been nice, but overall, I highly recommend trying the local wines while you're there! 🍷

Lovely old-style hotel with a charming rustic ambiance. The Family Room offered a cozy retreat, perfect for our family. The breakfast selection was tasty, and the small outside pool provided a refreshing escape after our outings. Just a heads up, no air conditioning made for hot nights. We had to leave the window open despite the noisy road nearby. WiFi struggled a bit, so streaming was tricky. A great local dinner experience with delightful Basque dishes, though I noticed some menu items might not cater to vegetarians. L'Auberge has its quirks, but its local flair and warmth made it worthwhile.
